As participants of the Kunstsymposium Neukirchen we opened the old cornershop of the village for one week. Passers by could get daily coffee, music, readings, workshops and cinema evenings for free. At the same time small works of art could be exchanged for food from the garden or the pantry. Poems, music or other intangible goods were also welcome as currency. The focus was not on the food, but on the event of the exchange.event of the exchange. Since the village no longer has a real center and loses taverns and other meeting places, this exchange also set a new form of interaction. For a final banquet, the goods were collectively processed into a large banquet. All participants were invited to feast together. There, for the time being, there was a last exchange, performances and a tarot divination. A film documentary shows a small glimpse of the week.

I focused on the culinary happening, ethnically traditional cooking and eating processes and food design. Food is historically the earliest record of human knowledge about its existence and the cosmos, and has always initiated conversations, brought people together, and shaped societies. Research on the feast, cuisine-art, artists' kitchens and Eatart were thus paired with collecting, preparing and preserving. The results and the film were shown in November at the Neuer Kunstverein Regensburg.
